The rugged MDF enclosure with carpet covering stands up to the stresses of car life, and its wedge-shaped design allows it to fit in more places.
Lighting And Multi-Sub Options
The pre-wired dual RGB lighting bars can be controlled by the included wireless remote or through the screen of the Alpine ILX-W670 receiver (sold separately). You can link multiple S2-S12B enclosures with the optional KTX-LK12 bracket for a kaleidoscopic multi-sub system. For the final touch, a twist-lock mounting system makes it easy to add one of Alpine's specially-designed speaker grilles (sold separately).
Big Bass From a 12" Sub
This S2-SB12 features Alpine's S2-W12D4 subwoofer with dual 4-ohm voice coils wired for 2-ohm impedance. Its carbon fiber/polypropylene cone and HAMR multi-roll rubber surround deliver powerful bass. It handles up to 600 watts of RMS power (1800 watts peak), so you can feed it plenty of power.
